Negatives

For some reason, I've always like how a sketch looks on black. To me it hurts my eyes less. or probably thats because I mostly sketch right after coming from work and is dark, ah, and also everyone is knocked out. I love the native- american culture and I've been doing lots of that lately. Those clothes and feathers look pretty nice on them. From all these pictures above I kinda made one native american girl ; she is at the bottom-left side of the image. Of course I was exercising the hand, and these are just scribbles and none of them is finished :). Last week I almost work double shift from 7am-8pm everyday. Whew! Long week........ Alot of stress and I 'll need to recover. Perhaps I wont have a chance to help Gaby on the art this week as I need some time off, but I sure needed to post a little bit from my sketches.

Back to work.....

After a week of misconfort witht this bloody cold I've got from who knows where. I finally going to the Hotel again. The guys did a swell job with the prospects, but only one sale on the week. What a week.....

Back as a self illustrator: Gaby worked alone with the comic this week, well just the idea of the comic and some conceptual art for it because I was so out of myself. Whats for this week....? I think I'm going to work on some might-be-interested backgrounds that might end up here. Cheers all!

The terrible cold

I´ve lost count... I 've lost count of the days that I was just recovering from the pains of the cold I cought at the hotel where I work. *do not think I was on vacation* *winks* Well, plans are on to the file pile now until I feel better. Gabriela is doing her part, but it is nothing but conceptual work. I think I'll post it here if I have the time, or if she lets me do it. I have no idea how well we are going to end up with that mini comic we are going to be publishing here in cancun, but I guess only time will tell.

Experimenting with black background

This right here came as an idea from Gaby. A picture of a mother and a baby is one of the most beautiful things one can see, and then she dare me I could not drew it. Of course I was not going to let her do that to me. Here is the result. This drawing came out from a photrograph from a national geographic book.

So.... The time has come......

I'm out of school. I was unable to finish it due to a pretty good job offer I had. Life never goes the way you plan, sometimes it goes better but all that depends on your point of view. Animation school was like a dream come true to me but I guess it will have to wait, or I can just take illustration here at Cancun.

Anyway, I want to pay better attention to my deviant page from now on. It is so deserted and is hungry for art and not second hand artistry.

My girlfriend is back from Guadalajara and so we are planning on a comic which we'll still planning out, but it will for sure be posted here. We are also going to sign up for the open canvas forum to learn better about that program.

I wish myself and Gaby so much luck.

Trying to recover the lost

Well, I could have thought of any other title, but I was totally blank. The thing is that I had this blog before and for some reason they took it away. I guess I never cared about posting, so they wanted to save space, and they did. *smiles* Well guys , you'll find art here that you won't find anywhere else. I'm saving all my best for this blog, well, and my yahoo page.

Merry x-mas everyone! and in case I don't see you happy new year. *Remembers "The Truman Show"* I wished that that movie was a little bit longer *sights*
